Me personally, it annoys me when others do it to serious threads. For my own threads it doesn't bother me, as I'm largely looking for feedback from other people's perspectives, and if they choose to express themselves via humor or entertainment, that's ok. I'm pretty easy going and only threads of a serious nature should remain taken seriously until the threadstarter deems otherwise.

by Free!! ini had a friend in the borg that i love and miss (the only one i miss for real) she got married and because she begged me to atttend her wedding i showed up after a loooong time at the kh (that was october 2010, never went back!
just for her i went that one time!
well, even though i faded and have almost zero communication w the jws every once in a while we exchage emails, typicall "i miss you" "take care" and "how's your life" kind of stuff.. she is respectful of my decision and never asks to many questions, but i make sure i always let her know i am ok and happy... so, this past weekend i emailed her just to say hello, i check my email today and have this..... "i think about you all the time too free!!.

Were you ever DF'd? For what and how long?
by QuestioningEverything ini was df'd when i was 20 or so for fornication.
i got reinstated when i was 24. i had a son during that time and i was worried about us if we didn't get back to the fold and 'protection' of the organization.

Milk of Mag mask for oily skin. Wash your face, put a coating of MOM on your face for a couple of hours, or overnight, skin is a lot less oily.
Never heard of this. My skin is real oily, and the older I get the worst it gets.

by JustHuman14 inmore than one million people are out in the streets today in athens, greece, protesting against the new financial measures that the government is trying to pass.. the building of the greek parliament is blocked by protesters.
situation started to get bad, since the police had a clash with a group of "anarchist".
i guess we are all anarchists in greece, since we are looking for a better future for us and our children.. the corrupted governments that ruled this country from 1974, when dictatorship ended, have lead to poverty 11 million greeks.

Funny how lmited the information is on this subject when it comes to sharing it with so called students. What's even more telling, at least to me is, there's hardly any information on this subject for baptized JWs. The CD Rom, the Insight Book, and the various WT articles that touch on this subject, to a shoddy job at explaining why this subject is more than simply a parable for illustration purposes. I don't know what their reasons are for not explaining this more fully, although I'm guessing, 1.) Its unexplainable, or 2.) They don't want JWs dwelling on the subject too long because some astute JWs might just realize its for lack of a better word, bullshit.
